Icelandic Property Usage Codes
Complete reference of Fasteignaskrá (HMS) property usage codes from the Icelandic Land Registry and how they map to Igloo rental categories.
Introduction
When a property is registered in the Icelandic Land Registry (Fasteignaskrá Íslands), each unit is assigned a usage code that describes its purpose. Igloo uses these codes to automatically determine the property category and rental purpose when creating rental contracts.
Priority tiers
When a property has multiple units (e.g. an apartment with a garage), Igloo selects the primary unit based on priority tier, then by size (m²).
